Model drift, re-training pipelines and monitoring of the model performance are AI deployment 101 best practices. Properly designed AI systems have these in place in production.

I learnt these back in the 1990s when I studied AI. So when such articles are written, read it with a pinch of salt.

A good AI solution provider will have already designed these re-training pipelines etc as part the proposed solution.
